The North Shore Swim Series hosted by Surf N Sea!
Each summer the North Shore Swim Series hosted by Surf n Sea kicks off the highly anticipated season of ocean swimming with its popular race cache of open water events.
2025 will be the 36th year for the North Shore Swim Series! The series gives recreational and competitive swimmers alike a chance to test their mettle (as well as enjoy the scenery) in the beautiful waters of Oahu’s fabled North Shore.

ALOHA SALADS SUMMER SPRINT
The first race of the series is a 1-mile swim from Sunset Beach to Pipeline!
Date: June 14, 2025
Check-in: 7:00 am at Sunset Beach Community Park on the Mauka side of Kamehameha Hwy
Race Starts: 9 am
CHOLO’S WAIMEA BAY SWIM
The second race of the series is a 1.2 mile course that takes you around iconic Waimea Bay!
Date: June 28, 2025
Check-in: 7:00 am at Waimea Bay
Race Starts: 9 am
JACO Rehab CHUNS TO WAIMEA BAY Swim
This race features a 1.6-mile course starting at Chun’s Reef close to “Piddlies” surf spot following the coast east back to Waimea Bay.

Race Starts: 9 am
North Shore Challenge Swim
The fourth & final race of the series features a 2.3-mile course starting at Ehukai Beach Park & following the coast line to Waimea Bay!
