The Challenge

The North Shore Virtual Swim is a 4-week, 12-mile challenge across the North Shore coastline of O'ahu, Hawaii. You will start at the iconic Turtle Bay and end at historic Haleiwa with notable milestones along the way (Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, & Chun's Reef).

How it Works

Register October 1 through January 1; The swim window will be January 4th – 31st
Soon after registering, you will receive a link to set up your tracking account. This will allow you to upload your workouts, track your progress, & see where you are in the standings with others.
On January 4th, start swimming and upload your progress to your account.
Track your progress on the leaderboard and map and share on social media.

$59 to enter. This fee includes:

Stay Connected to North Shore

As home of the North Shore Swim Series and North Shore 5k/10k Endurance Swim, this area of O'ahu has a long-standing history of supporting ocean swimming. This virtual swim is the perfect way to stay connected to the North Shore during the winter months as big wave surfing returns.

When you take on this challenge you'll be able to track your progress on the leaderboard, watch your swim line move on your digital map, see how you stack up against others, and collect some custom North Shore swag.
