5k/10k Endurance Swim

The North Shore 5k/10k Swim is not affiliated with the series but is a separate endurance event that takes place 1 week after the final series race. The 5k (3.1-miles) swim course begins at Sunset Beach and ends at Waimea Bay. There is a separate Fin Division for this event only! The 10k (6.2-miles) swim course is an out and back event beginning at Waimea Bay, turning around at Sunset Beach, and finishing back at Waimea Bay. This is, without a doubt, a grass roots event filled with swimmers ready to test their long-distance swimming abilities. It requires sufficient training and a strong mindset and is not for the faint of heart.
